Join us Thursday, September 18 at the Morris Lawrence Building (WCC) for Avalon Housing’s Home for Good annual fundraiser. We have six free tickets available—if you’d like to attend, please contact our office administrator, Dawn Raney, at <mainoffice@a2communitychurch.org> to reserve your ticket. Your presence helps support safe, inclusive housing as a long-term solution to homelessness.

Worship is our expression of reverence, honor, and respect to God. Join us for an evening of extended community worship—intimate songs, restorative prayer, and space to encounter God together. Pastor Shaun will be hosting, (address is 329 Oak St., Ypsilanti 48197). Please bring your voice or simply an open heart, (you can also bring a non-electric instrument if you’d like but no “musical ability” is required at all!) We know it often takes a lot of courage and energy to come to a new church, and we’d like to make things a bit easier for anyone who’s new to A2CC!

If you're new to the church in the last year, you're invited to come to the cafe following service to enjoy a light lunch, meet other new folks, our pastors and a few members to hear what we’re about as a church and how to plug in. You don’t need to register! Your kids are welcome too - we’ll have coloring supplies and Bluey available. Questions? Please contact Pastor Hannah at hannah.witte@a2communitychurch.org.

Our beloved tradition is back! Mark your calendars and plan to stay after the Sunday celebration on October 26th to make a new friend, enjoy some delicious food and laughter together.

If you’d like to enter the chili contest, and/or to help with setup or clean up, please fill out the registration form by October 12th, or sign up at the events table in the lobby.

Ladies of all ages and stages are welcome to join us for an evening of creativity and connection on Friday, October 24th from 7pm to 9pm. Please bring a snack or beverage to pass (wine and chocolate are most welcome), and a $5 donation to cover art supplies. Please sign up in the lobby or RSVP to Jen Paladino so we know how many canvases to prepare. Children must be accompanied by an adult and have the ability to paint for 2 hours, and we recommend wearing something that can get paint on it as the acrylics used dry into permanent plastic!
