Plan A Visit

What are Sundays like?

We gather to be renewed by God's love and truth, to offer our affection back to God and to use our gifts to serve each other. We start by singing worship songs from a variety of artists. We hear a sermon that aims to bring the Bible's truth into our context. We spend time silently reflecting in God's presence. We sing a final song, receive communion, and have prayer ministry available for those who want prayer.

Afterwards, we spend time together eating on DJ's donuts and GF/vegan treats in the lobby.

What happens with kids?

Kids stay with their families for the opening set of songs. We love having their life and vigor in the room! During announcements, any kids who want to go to children's ministry or youth group are welcome to.

If your kid would prefer to stay with you in the sanctuary, they are welcome to do so, no matter their age. We've got some coloring supplies available for them.

Here's what's available for kids:

Nursing Moms Room: Just outside of the sanctuary is a private room for moms who'd like to use it. You can see and hear what's happening in the sanctuary in there.

Children's Ministry (ages 2-5th grade) Any kids 2-5th grade are invited to come to our children's ministry. We aim to cultivate spiritual curiosity and give a solid Biblical framework through play, crafts, and discussing stories from the Bible. Questions? Email Barb at barb.hillaker@a2communitychurch.org.

Youth Group: 6th – 12th Graders meet on first and third Sundays during the service. It’s a laid back time to get to know God and each other. We have fun together, we read the Bible together, and we pray together. Please join us — there’s no pressure… you’ll meet quality people and discover how awesome loving Jesus is. Questions? Email Jon at jonbarthol@gmail.com.

All volunteers and leaders for children's ministry and youth group have submitted clear background checks.
