About

What We Believe

We believe in cultivating a space for people to encounter the living presence of God, and the community to support people along that journey. We want you to discover God yourself as you engage scripture, participate in worship, join life groups, and serve others through ministry opportunities. We don’t want to dictate how you take your next step with Christ, we just want to help get you on the path; which is why we believe it’s important to create opportunities for people to have transformational growth in their everyday lives. As a congregation, we strive to experience belonging, cultivate tangible joy, activate hope, and know comfort as we learn to trust Jesus and to share that peace with others.

How We Worship

We have two goals when it comes to our weekend celebrations: Make everyone feel welcome and cultivate a connection with Christ. We don’t have a set of overly-defined practices that everyone has to perform or follow in order to fit in. We certainly have recommendations for how you can increase your conscious contact with God, but we realize that while one method might work well for some, it’s not the right approach for others. This causes us to be open so that we can learn from everyone. We also don’t have a hierarchy of sins that allow (or even encourage) us to judge each other. We remind ourselves that only God is able to able to judge our motivations and our heart. All of this creates space for us to belong and opportunities for us to have transformative encounters with the living presence of the loving God.

What We Value

We are becoming a community where every thread matters—woven together by the Spirit into something beautiful, strong, and whole. Our values are not just ideals we admire—they are aspirations we live toward, together.

We want to celebrate beauty.

We believe God’s first word about creation was “very good,” and we want that to be our first word, too. Whether it’s the beauty in people, cultures, stories, or the world around us, we look for it, name it, and create space to delight in it. We believe worship, art, relationships, and hospitality are all ways we reflect the beauty of God.

We want to create peace.

We are committed to building a community of justice, healing, and reconciliation. Peace isn’t the absence of conflict—it’s the presence of wholeness, mutuality, and love. We strive to be a church that bridges divides, welcomes across differences, and participates in God’s work of mending what’s been broken.

We want to overthrow fear.

Fear isolates and divides. Love gathers and restores. We are learning to live as a people grounded in the fearless love of Jesus—a love that casts out fear, holds tension, and welcomes questions. We want to be a place where those who are deconstructing or rebuilding their faith can find honesty, hope, and belonging

We value transformation.

We believe faith is a journey—one shaped by encounter, growth, and grace. We don’t expect everyone to be in the same place, and we trust the Spirit to guide each step. Whether you’re exploring Jesus for the first time or deepening a lifelong faith, we want to walk with you.

We belong to each other.

Our community is intergenerational, multi-ethnic, and joyfully inclusive. We believe the church is strongest when everyone is needed, seen, and loved. From young children to elders, from longtime members to brand-new visitors—every person has a thread in the fabric we are weaving together.
